What is NDIS?

The NDIS stands for National Disability Insurance Scheme and it is a new way for people with disabilities to get funding to pay for the supports they need.
NDIS provides support to eligible people with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial disability. Early intervention supports can also be provided for eligible people with disability or children with developmental delay.

Have a permanent and significant disability that prevents you in doing your day to day activities

Be an Australian permanent resident or citizen

Be under the age of 65
